jamie johnson (also known as edamami) is a deejay and designer based in ann arbor, MI. she currently mixes with the Michigan Electronic Music Collective (MEMCO), a group of student djs, producers, and designers at the University of Michigan who are striving to bring the sounds of detroit to the local community. she mixes a variety of genres (typically acid, techno, hip hop, and funk/disco), but likes to focus on showcasing female produced music in her sets. she is currently the graphic design chair for MEMCO, mainly focusing on designing event flyers.
