loxxe (laura) is an emerging toronto-based deejay and producer. her sound is techno at the core, but also has versatile layers of deep house, melodic progressive, nu-disco, trance and minimal.  loxxe frequently draws inspiration in her selections and productions from 8-bit retro gaming culture, as well from her background as a former bass guitarist and classical pianist. currently she also hosts a monthly online radio show called 'Extra Life' on n10.as (in Montreal) as turbo_ether, which features mainly downtempo and ambient, nostalgic music.
